The cherry blossoms should start to flower later this month and that's when spring truly feels like it's here to stay. I had to look up the date when we took those wisteria pictures last year, and it was the beginning of May. Not too much longer. :)jtanabatahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04592550784537825632noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8275808567357577735.post-8522651077628840982008-03-16T20:51:00.000-07:002008-03-16T20:51:00.000-07:00the flowers are so lovely...and i'm addicted to fr...the flowers are so lovely...and i'm addicted to freerice too :)melaniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09753569665143213748noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8275808567357577735.post-895975556075984212008-03-16T17:41:00.000-07:002008-03-16T17:41:00.000-07:00Oh my, that is so beautiful. Not only did you post about gardening, but you also posted a picture of a nice pile of books, including something by Penelope Lively, as did I. But her memoir that I have on my stack will be the first I've read of her work. Do you have a novel of hers to recommend?

jeane--I haven't been to Free Rice in awhile, either--but mainly because I can waste far too much time there :)

tanabata--the smell is really something else! Is spring approaching in Japan? I remember your picture of wisteria from last year, so I was wondering when that lovely flower shows up again for you!Gentle Readerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09102364083044797155noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8275808567357577735.post-86407175037411044712008-03-16T06:43:00.000-07:002008-03-16T06:43:00.000-07:00Gorgeous!
