Charles Simic was just named the 15th Poet Laureate of the United States! Woot! Love his work!

What a sweet photo of him! He looks very jolly. I've never heard of him, so I shall have to check out his work.

ReplyDeleteI heard about this yesterday and really I must check out his poetry now. I have heard his name before but I don't recall reading any of his poems.
ReplyDeleteiliana--I feel like he's one of those poets a lot of people have heard of but haven't read. I only read his work because one of my good friends is really into poetry. But he's definitely worth reading :)
